Now, with a pathological view of the current situation and using an appropriate approach, this research seeks to proposing an appropriate approach for adaptation studies, conduct a comparative analysis of one of the adapted works and its case study. In this research, the neo-formalism approach, which has the potential to be applied in both literary and cinematic media, is based on narratology and, relying on it, a comparative reading of setting in the story and film "White Nights" by Fyodor Dostoevsky and Saeed Aghighi and Farzad Motman has been addressed. The neo-formalism approach discusses formal elements in such a way that the audience has an active and effective role in the narrative process. Dostoevsky's story "White Nights" is a work that takes place in 19th century Russia. Based on this story, Saeed Aqiqi wrote a screenplay and turned it into a film. Considering that the Setting in Saeed Aqiqi's screenplay have changed compared to the original work, it is considered a native and Iranian work. In the following article, the change of time and place of a literary work from 19th century Russia to 21st century Tehran will be examined from the perspective of neoformalism. It will also be discussed how a long story by Dostoevsky, by changing Setting to the Iranian culture, still retains its important elements and is considered a significant and important work.  مطالعات اقتباسی در ایران به دلیل عدم توجه به مبانی نظری مناسب، دچار خلاء بزرگی است که منجر به فراگیر نشدن این مبحث بینارشته‌ای در میان پژوهش‌های فارسی شده است. حال این پژوهش با نگاهی آسیب‌شناسانه‌ وضع موجود و به‌ کارگیری رویکردی مناسب، درصدد است علاوه بر طرح و پیشنهاد رویکردی مناسب برای پژوهش‌های اقتباسی، به تحلیل تطبیقی یکی از آثار اقتباسی و بررسی موردی آن نیز بپردازد. در این پژوهش، رویکرد نئوفرمالیسم(Neo-formalism) که قابلیت طرح در هر دو رسانه‌ی ادبیات و سینما را دارد، مبنای روایت‌شناسانه‌ قرار گرفته و با تکیه بر آن به خوانش تطبیقی زمان و مکان در داستان و فیلم «شب‌های روشن» فئودور داستایفسکی و سعید عقیقی و فرزاد موتمن پرداخته شده است. رویکرد نئوفرمالیسم عناصر شکلی را به گونه‌ای مورد بحث قرار می‌دهد که مخاطب نقشی فعال و موثر در روند روایت‌پردازی دارد. داستان «شب‌های روشن» داستایفسکی، اثری است که در قرن نوزدهم روسیه می‌گذرد. برمبنای این داستان، سعید عقیقی فیلمنامه‌ای با همین عنوان نوشته و تبدیل به فیلم شده است. باتوجه به این که زمان و مکان در فیلم‌نامه‌ی سعید عقیقی نسبت به اثر اصلی تغییر یافته، اثری بومی و ایرانی به‌شمار می‌رود. در مقاله‌ی پیش‌رو تغییر زمان و مکان اثر ادبی از روسیه‌ی قرن نوزدهم به تهران قرن بیست‌ویکم از منظر نئوفرمالیسم مورد بررسی قرار می‌گیرد. همچنین بحث می‌شود چگونه داستان بلندی از داستایفسکی با تغییر زمان و مکان به زیست‌بوم و فرهنگ ایرانی، همچنان عناصر مهم خود را حفظ می‌کند و اثری شاخص و مهم تلقی می‌شود. https://jis.ut.ac.ir/article_94072_7ea1803f5b0afb611860984170ed50b2.pdf
