The persons of this family had rulership in Tabriz and its districts and were nobles and respected persons for the Mongol khans including Holagu (rule: 651-663). Some personalities of this family, like Malek Mahmūd, Amīr Majd al-Dīn Muhammad and Abu al-Majd Tabrizi, were poets and scholars and their poems and works are now available. Brief and scattered information about this family can be found in literary and historical sources and by joining them together some knowledge about the persons of this family may be obtained. یکی از خاندان‌های محتشم آذربایجان در دورۀ مغولی و ایلخانی «جماعت ملکان» تبریز است. افراد این خاندان در تبریز و نواحی آن حاکمیّت داشتند و در نزد خانان مغول، از جمله هولاکوخان (حک  651 – 663)،  مقرّب و معزّز بودند. چندی از شخصیتهای آن، همچون ملک محمود، امیرمجدالدین محمّد و ابوالمجد تبریزی، شاعر و عالم بودند  و اشعار و آثاری از آنها در دست است. اطلاعات مختصر و پراکنده‌ای از این خاندان در منابع ادبی و تاریخی موجود است و با هم پیوستن این اطلاعات  می‌توان به شناخت چندی از افراد این خاندان دست یافت. https://jis.ut.ac.ir/article_52673_071a6f39b4ea9aee5f0c5a4649d6dbc7.pdf
