Philanthropy has a wide scope and dimensions, and knowing its examples, scope and mechanisms can clarify its individual, social, spiritual and cultural functions. Considering the impact of philanthropy on the morality and life of individuals and society, the explanation of this concept can clarify the perception and view of society and individuals towards it. The purpose of this article is to examine philanthropy and its dimensions in Pahlavi texts that were formalized in the Sasanian period or the first Islamic centuries. Depending on the period in which these texts were written, it is possible to learn about the definitions and activities of individuals, religious institutions and the state apparatus in this field, which required interaction between them. Studies show that the interests of the individual and the family, the community and the religious community were taken into account in the discussion of philanthropy. از جمله مفاهیم مهم در دین زردشتی نیکوکاری است که آموزه‌های قابل توجهی در باب آن وجود دارد و توجه ویژه‌ای به آن شده است. نیکوکاری حوزه و ابعاد گسترده-ای دارد که شناخت مصادیق، حدود و سازوکارهای آن می‌تواند کارکردهای فردی، اجتماعی، معنوی و فرهنگی آن را بیشتر روشن سازد. با توجه به تأثیر نیکوکاری در روحیات و زندگی فرد و اجتماع تبیین این مفهوم و شناخت ابعاد آن می‌تواند تلقی و دیدگاه جامعه و افراد نسبت به آن را روشن نماید. هدف این مقاله بررسی نیکوکاری و ابعاد آن در دین زردشتی با تاکید بر متون پهلوی است که در دورة ساسانی یا قرون نخستین اسلامی نظم و نسک یافته‌اند. با توجه به زمان نگارش این متون می‌توان تا حدودی با تعاریف و فعالیت‌های مردم، نهاد دینی و دستگاه حکومتی در این زمینه آشنا شد که نیازمند تعامل میان آنان در این باره بوده است. بررسی‌ها نشان می‌دهد مصالح فرد و خانواده، اجتماع و جامعة دینی در بحث نیکوکاری مد نظر بوده است.<br /><br />از جمله مفاهیم مهم در دین زردشتی نیکوکاری است که آموزه‌های قابل توجهی در باب آن وجود دارد و توجه ویژه‌ای به آن شده است. نیکوکاری حوزه و ابعاد گسترده-ای دارد که شناخت مصادیق، حدود و سازوکارهای آن می‌تواند کارکردهای فردی، اجتماعی، معنوی و فرهنگی آن را بیشتر روشن سازد. با توجه به تأثیر نیکوکاری در روحیات و زندگی فرد و اجتماع تبیین این مفهوم و شناخت ابعاد آن می‌تواند تلقی و دیدگاه جامعه و افراد نسبت به آن را روشن نماید. https://jis.ut.ac.ir/article_100386_8203f57a7f4438e357ad31ff6f9f724c.pdf
